Hello my name is John Kirsch I consider myself to be a semi professional photojournalist who's interest in photography started as a teenager back in the early 70’s so to the best of my recollection I started photographing with a 35mm film camera at about the age of 13 years old. For the last 53 years I have always been the guy at the family or friends gathering with a camera in my hand capturing the moments. I'm a friend with a camera for hire and I photograph all events except weddings.

I would like to honor those of you who are "CENTENARIAN" (100 years of age or older) by offering a 1 hour photo shoot at NO CHARGE. If you or someone you know is a centenarian please contact me to take advantage of this valuable offer.

I use a 24 MP Full Frame Mirrorless Nikon Z5 digital camera with an external flash unit and a tripod. The six Nikon and Sigma lenses which I mainly use on location are a 24-50mm, 50mm, 18-55mm, 18-105mm, 70-200mm and a 10-20mm wide angle. I also have a 24 MP Nikon D5200 digital camera and a 10 MP Nikon D40 digital camera.

I will download your event photos to a USB drive and the USB drive will be mailed to you within 5 business days. You have my word that I will treat your event as if it were my own family’s event and will do everything in my power to capture it as I would for my own family album.

Session rates start at $110.00 for the first hour, $100.00 for the second hour, $90.00 for the third hour and every hour after that. Sessions can be booked at one hour intervals; a three hour session averages $100.00 per hour. These rates are for event destinations within a 20 mile radius of Whiting NJ. A trip charge of $100.00 will be added to events outside the 20 mile radius but not more than 40 miles. An additional trip charge for destinations further then 40 miles will be determined. I may also consider Bartering my services and/or an Honorarium. Thank you and I look forward to working with you to capture memories that will last a life time.
